For this particular lot, a full-body creaminess is on full display; a characteristic that helps the predominant nutty notes linger on the palette without complaint. Like many of Chalo’s coffees, this washed Castillo has been hand-picked, pulped and fermented on site. Fermentation can last for up to 36 hours and helps develop the coffee’s sweetness while maintaining a pleasant level of acidity. It's everything you know and love about great Colombian coffee.
